Why Walkie-Talkie Apps Don’t Seem To Work?
If
you think walkie-talkie apps can be a replacement for the real device, think
again. You might not be able to use where the internet connection is spotty so
if you are planning to use long range walkie-talkies in rural areas think
again. The inconsistent speed of transmission also makes the smartphone apps (walkie-talkie)
a second-grade option as the delay in PTT is higher, and it is frustrating for
the users to face such a delay. It also makes them dependent on the internet
connection which isn’t good as it limits the capabilities. Those who have been
used to a walkie-talkie find the apps difficult to use as it involves many more
steps as compared to a real walkie-talkie. Instead of just pushing a button
they have to first switch on the phone and then open the required app and then
talk. Want to know more? Click
