Why Walkie-Talkie Apps Don’t Seem To Work?



If you think walkie-talkie apps can be a replacement for the real device, think again. You might not be able to use where the internet connection is spotty so if you are planning to use long range walkie-talkies in rural areas think again. The inconsistent speed of transmission also makes the smartphone apps (walkie-talkie) a second-grade option as the delay in PTT is higher, and it is frustrating for the users to face such a delay. It also makes them dependent on the internet connection which isn’t good as it limits the capabilities. Those who have been used to a walkie-talkie find the apps difficult to use as it involves many more steps as compared to a real walkie-talkie.
